Limited Warranty Policy

1. Every tyre and tube sold by M.T.R. Enterprises GmbH with a complete serial number or identification number is warranted to be free from defects in worksmanship and materials for the to be expected life time of the original tread under normal services and use, excluding blemish tyres.

2. If a defect in worksmanship or material appears on the tube or tyre under normal use and service at any time before less than 2/3 tread depth remains. Note that if the the tread depth is less than 2/3 of the original depth the tyre is considered to be worn out and the warranty to be expired. The claim adjustment will be made on a pro-rated basis and calculated based on our selling price (i.e. price in the sales contract) and the remaining usable tread depth.

3. Not covered in the warranty are defects as:
  • Failure due to improper recapping practices, procedures or material.
  • Improper tube installation.
  • Tire failure or loss due to misuse, overload, improper inflation or negligence.
  • Road hazards such as cuts, punctures, impact breaks or chipping.
  • Irregular wear due to misalignment or mechanical reasons.
  • After excess wear occurs (below 1/3 of the original tread depth)
  • Tire with 36 months after the tyre production date.
  • Charges for demounting, mounting or balancing.
  • Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of vehicle or consequential damages.
  • Premature wearing or damaging due to abusive or unusual operation conditions.
4. Dealer obligation:

  • Claims must be submitted in writing to M.T.R. Enterprises GmbH for adjustment as per the designed claims instruction.When you receive a defective tyre, please submit a detailed claim report with the information described at our claim instruction page such as:

            1. Tire size, ply rating, tread pattern code as well as our respective invoice number for tracing.
            2. The remaining tread depth, serial number or other identification number.
            3. Defection description or cause of defect.
            4. Machine or vehicle operating or working conditions, if possible.
            5. The serial number needs to be cut from the tyre and to be send to the designated or the following address by post: M.T.R. Enterprises GmbH, Saseler Chaussee 162, D-22393 Hamburg
5. Physical Inspection:

  • You are requested to hold all tyres for 60 days or until the claim/s are settled. We reserve the right to physically inspect any or all claimed tyres within the specific 60 days period.
  • Physical inspection may be done at your place of business or we may ask you to ship the tyres to a designated location for inspection. If you are required to ship the tyres, they must be shipped prepaid. A reimbursement for the freight charge will be included in your claims adjustement credit.
  • The costumer name and sequence number must be marked on the bead are of every tyre for inspection in such a way that it cannot be erased during shipment and handling.
